Giving our faithful furry friends a long and healthy life starts with effective healthcare catered to your pets specific needs. That includes a complete wellness exam at least once a year to conduct a physical exam, administer vaccines according to your pet's schedule, nutrition evaluations, and screenings for pervasive issues like heartworm, tick borne illness, and parasites. By regularly conducting these exams, we can stay on top of your pet’s healthcare needs for life and treat issues as they arise, before they become serious.
If your pet is on any prescription medications or foods, we do require a yearly exam to maintain a patient/doctor relationship, as required by Minnesota Law, in order to continue prescribing those items.

During wellness visits, we conduct a complete examination of your pet to develop a comprehensive health profile. This information establishes a baseline of health to reference in future treatment. More importantly, this insight allows us to identify medical problems at an early stage, where treatment is both cheaper for you and less intensive for your pet.

- Loss of appetite or decreased appetite

- Cuts or wounds that are not healing

Preventatives & Prescription Foods
We recommend using Flea & Tick, and Heartworm preventatives, year round.
There are a variety of different products that can be utilized for your pet's prevention needs. We carry a few of those in-house at all times. We can assist you with ordering your preferred type if we do not carry it in house.
We regularly carry products from Royal Canin and Purina Pro-Plan Veterinary Diets. We carry several of these foods in house at all time. If you pet requires a specific type of food that we do not normally carry, we are happy to carry it in stock for you. If you prefer to order your prescription foods online, we can assist with the approval process for that as well.
